Optimum Power Solutions
How it works

The Power Optimizer™ consists of a semi-conductor device adapted to emit infrared energy onto the conductor feeding the load(s); which results in improving the efficiency of the circuit.

This is achieved by modifying the irregular drifting of the otherwise free (valence) electrons at the atom’s outer orbit to a streamlined and smooth flow. The modification of electron drifting is the result of the photoelectric coupling between photons emitted by the light energy source (infrared light) and electrons of the circuit conductor. The results in lengthening of the electron wavelength are:

Reduced spinning of electrons and reduced collision among them

Minimizing the loss of energy otherwise generated by their irregular drifting and collisions

Reduced number of electrons required to drive the same load

Decreased Joule’s heat due to crash of electrons

Increasing the conductivity rate

Minimizing the noise and vibrations

In addition to the semi-conductor (ceramic) device which stores the light energy, the Power Optimizer™ consists of a surge absorber, noise limiter, infrared emitting diode, LED, input current state display (LCD) and oscillator limiter to correspond the frequency of the output signal with that of the ac power.

The Power Optimizer™ is compact and light for easy handling and installation. The units are UL approved. All components are concealed with no hazards and maintenance is not required. The benefits of paralleling the Power Optimizer to an electrical panel or equipment include:

8% to 15% reduction of power consumption

Reduction of KVA demand*

Improvement of power factor*

Reduction of noise, harmonics & surges

Consequent improvement of environment due to less carbon emission into the environment

* While some benefits beyond a reduction in kWh are similar to effects of a capacitor, the Power Optimizer™ is not a capacitor & does not operate in a similar manner to a capacitor.
